“A Midsummer Night’s Dream” is one of Shakespeare’s most popular plays. It is a comedy about love and marriage. The play is set in Athens and revolves around the Duke of Athens, Theseus, and his marriage to Hippolyta. Hermia is in love with Lysander and wants to marry him, but her father, Egeus, wants her to marry Demetrius. Helena is in love with Demetrius, but he does not love her. Instead, he loves Hermia. Theseus tells Hermia that she must marry Demetrius or be put to death. Hermia and Lysander run away into the forest. Helena follows them. While in the forest, the lovers get lost. Hermia and Lysander fall asleep. Helena finds them and wakes them up. Lysander does not know who Helena is. Hermia gets mad at Helena and they start to fight. Meanwhile, Oberon, the king of the fairies, and Titania, the queen of the fairies, are having a disagreement. Oberon wants Titania to give him a little Indian boy that she is taking care of. Titania does not want to give him the boy. Oberon gets mad and puts a spell on Titania<\/p>\n
